The Cube R is a great looking machine, a modern clean take on the traditional E61 grouphead style machine. It’s a pleasure to use, with a quiet rotary pump and powerful steam wand. Heat up time is a little longer than some of the video reviews suggest, I found it to be around 20 minutes from switch on to Espresso brewing. The app works really well and has a range of features including scheduling. However, I prefer to switch on and schedule via a smart plug rather than the app as the machine could remain off rather than on standby when not in use. The machine came couriered direct from Sanremo, was beautifully packaged with a nice range of accessories. Overall via happy.
So, I took my coffee machine to the Coffee Lobby for a fix, and let me tell you, those guys are wizards! They only needed a part, and when I got it back, it looked brand new—like it just stepped out of a coffee spa day!
I was so impressed that I decided to upgrade to a shiny new espresso machine. This beauty even has an app that lets me program it remotely! I mean, what’s not to like? I can now brew coffee from the couch—life is good!
